Cambridge Construction delivers construction projects in a variety of ways to best meet client needs while creating maximum value. These delivery methods include: Developer; Design-Build; General Contractor; and Construction Management.
Developer
Cambridge Construction’s extensive project experience and multi-disciplinary teams enable us to sort through the complexities of developing real estate and add value at every phase of the project. We start with a clear definition of client objectives and needs. We assess ownership and financing options, permit hurdles, tax liabilities and incentives, and local codes and environmental regulations. Then we review the opportunities with the client and develop a customized strategy to deliver a project that minimizes risk while maximizing the client’s investment.
Design Build
In Design-Build, Cambridge Construction assembles a project team of planners, designers, engineers, and contractors to meet the project’s specific and unique needs. Our team assumes total responsibility and accountability for all aspects of the project and delivers a complete package of services that transform an owner's goals and objectives into a successful, completed project.
General Contracting
Cambridge Construction has provided this project delivery method since 1989. As general contractor, we typically work under a lump-sum contract and perform all phases of project construction using progressive materials, technology and building techniques that improve our performance and create greatest value for clients.
Construction Management
As construction manager, Cambridge Construction works under a professional services contract with the client
to establish a management team that makes sure each project phase – from pre-construction, through construction,
to project close out - is completed in the most streamlined, cost-efficient manner.
Choosing a seasoned developer and general contractor as construction manager assures the client that highly
qualified and experienced personnel are involved in all aspects of the project to make the timely, well informed
decisions that are critical to success.
